When it comes to enterprise data protection, there is none like it. Not only that it is the most reliable backup software there is, but it is also the worldwide market share leader, being used by 99% of fortune 500 companies, 10 of 10 leading telecom, healthcare and financial organisations across the globe. Therefore, I can arguably say that Veritas backs up more than half of all the worlds business information. Yes, I’m talking about Veritas NetBackup.
But don’t just take my word for it, this is backed by virtually all leading independent analysts, such as Gartner and Forrester, that have been citing NetBackup as a leader for Backup and Recovery in every single report they ever published.
Now, the good news is that the next NetBackup release, that is just around the corner, is going to blow you away. Among many new features around automation and new integrations, including improved APIs support, VMware backup optimisation and support for most modern workloads, the new user experience, which provides simplified end-to-end workload driven user experience, is really impressive.
