Which vendor now owns your product

Pricing
What determines the cost of a renewal
We do not publish prices because they depend on your configuration and change over time. These are the factors that set the figure on your quotation.
What you license
Front-end capacity (TB), users or mailboxes, servers, sockets or devices, depending on the product and licence model.
Term
Twelve months or a multi-year term. Longer terms can change the annual cost.
Maintenance level
The support level attached to perpetual licences, or the tier included in a subscription.
Co-termination
Aligning several entitlements to one renewal date, which may add or remove months on some lines.
True-ups
Growth since the last renewal, such as more capacity, users or agents than the entitlement covers.
Model changes
Moving between perpetual and subscription licensing, or to a newer product edition.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an Enterprise Vault licence cost?
Enterprise Vault pricing depends on the licence model (for example per user or mailbox, or by capacity), the components you use, the term and the maintenance level. We do not publish prices, but we can quote your exact configuration quickly once we have your entitlement details.
Can Virtech renew Enterprise Vault licences in the UAE?
Yes. Virtech is an Arctera Gold Partner and can sell, renew and advise on Enterprise Vault licensing in the UAE. Current terms, product requirements and territory conditions are confirmed before a quotation is issued.
Who do I renew NetBackup with now?
NetBackup is now a Cohesity product. Virtech is a Cohesity Associate Partner and can quote NetBackup and NetBackup appliance renewals for customers in the UAE and GCC.
Can I still renew Backup Exec and DLO?
Yes. In June 2026 partners were told that Backup Exec, DLO and System Recovery are available to purchase again and that the life of the product is extended. Virtech quotes renewals and new licences in the UAE and GCC, and confirms the current lifecycle dates for your version in writing before you renew.
Our renewal quote now shows a different vendor name. Has anything changed?
Since the Cohesity and Veritas combination, NetBackup renewals come from Cohesity, and Enterprise Vault and InfoScale renewals from Arctera. Backup Exec and DLO are sold and renewed through a channel appointed by the vendor since June 2026, and Virtech quotes them too. A changed name does not by itself mean your coverage or quantities changed, but it is worth comparing the documents. We can do that for you.
What is co-termination?
Co-termination aligns several entitlements to one renewal date, so you manage one renewal a year instead of several. The first renewal may cover more or fewer than twelve months on some lines.
What is a true-up?
A true-up brings your entitlement in line with what you actually use, for example extra capacity, users or agents added since the last renewal.
Can we move from perpetual licences to subscription at renewal?
Often, yes, depending on the product and the vendor's current programmes. We set out the options and the effect on cost and support before you decide.
How long does licence delivery take?
It depends on the vendor and product. We state the expected lead time on every quotation so you can renew before your current entitlement expires.
Do you only quote, or also support the products?
Both. The same Dubai-based team supports, upgrades and health-checks what you renew, onsite across the UAE and remotely across the GCC.
